MuchPR works with large clients and small, independently or in partnership with other agencies or contractors, depending upon the project, scope of work or needs of the client. We have a strong network of PR partners across Canada and the US that we incorporate into our efforts whenever needed. At times we oversee all PR outreach, other times we are an extension of your in-house group. We consider ourselves to be collaborators with our clients, team players who measure our success on your success. Based in New York City, MuchPR is geographically close to many of the top travel outlets in America, but our outreach covers both the US and Canada (including French-language media in the province of Quebec). Tanya Churchmuch, MuchPR Founder
With more than 20 years of media relations, communications, travel writing and on-air television journalism experience, Tanya Churchmuch founded MuchPR in January, 2015 after working in-house for Tourisme Montreal for several years, overseeing their International Media Relations and Travel Trade team. Many projects that Tanya has been involved with have received industry awards and recognitions, including Lonely Planet and the New York Times naming Canada as the number one destination to visit in 2017.
A lifelong traveller who has visited more than 40 countries on six continents, Tanya is passionate about experiencing and communicating stories of global culture. Fluent in French and with a working knowledge of Spanish, she began her career as a television journalist and news anchor with Global Television in Canada, but it was through her work as a travel writer that she eventually transitioned into travel PR. A recognized expert in the industry, Tanya has spoken at many travel conferences including TBEX, the Women in Travel Summit, FITUR, ASTA Global Convention, ITB Berlin, Salón de Turismo Sao Paulo, GNetworks 360 Buenos Aires, Community Marketing Annual Travel Conference, and several International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA) Conventions. Tanya also believes in the importance of giving back to the travel community. She is on the Advisory Board of the Women in Travel Summit, Secretary of the IGLTA Foundation and Past-President of IGLTA. She is an Associate Member of the Society of American Travel Writers.
